I'm Ripon Das & I work in tourism sector here in Greece. I put this blog up to share all my experiences and the journey I have been on so far.

About me
Language Barrier
I made it my thing to learn Greek not just to survive here, but to become a part of life here. I knew if I wanted to make friends with locals and be able to work in this new country. What I had to do is I had to be able to speak their language. I also learned English along the way, which provided me with new opportunities.
From Bangladesh to Greece
Upon my arrival to Greece on the 7th of March 2012. I was met by cool crisp air that I wasn't really prepared for. Hailing from hot Bangladesh, it felt like a shock to me with temperature at 6-7 C. But outside the chill, that shivering, I soon understood this transition would be about more than just adjusting to the weather. The first step was clear.
Sharing my Journey
This land of legends has been influenced over the ages by foreign invaders but they were never able to quash Greece which always managed to rise resilient and unaffected. By now, I was turning my pages and telling my story to our travelers, and sharing the magnificent and captivating history Greece has to offer! Because really, modern life, it has a lot going on. And finally, now, I am prepared to share all of that, wanting to encourage, for you to explore and appreciate all that Greece has to offer, just as I have.
